It is on sale outside ‘New Look’ in the Kingsgate until Xmas Eve and also at www.olddunfermline.com/shop. The winner will be announced on Saturday 17th December.     Where I was born at Alley View Cottage in Bruce St was demolished in the 70s and is now a car park. A bridge over the road between us and Buffys Braeburn where steam trains went by and a cobbled street. Terrace houses with ‘closes’. Blimey!!!

    I used to live there in wood mill area in 1964 and yesterday I went to visit and it is all built up I could not remember any were I would love to meet some of the guys that were playing in the band called the Strollers.

    When I married in956 it was Dunfermline we went to, many years has passed since, life changed, family still live there, we went to live on a narrow boat for a few years, near the River Thames we passed a narrow boat called ( A wee fit Fifer ) which thrilled me to bits
