Bank of Scotland in my day – never thought it would become a coffee shop!
Anyone know where the blacksmith James Hay had his premises in the 1860’s? He is my gt x2 grandfather
Notice the ” painless extractions” dentist on the opposite side. Shudder!!!!
Hasn’t worn well
That must mean that the bank as it was when I was a child, now Costa has to have been built in the early 20th Century.
Wait…There was a Davies Gray’s in 1880????
Down the New Row as the Hobby and Model shop.
Bit off-putting, a Butchers sign below the Dentists!
