A fascinating image taken at the corner of Douglas Street and the High Street that attracted a lot of attention when a lorry shed the load it was carrying. The Linen Bank building has recently been converted into a cafe/bar and Harris’s shop on the opposite corner is now the Vodafone shop.

MacFarlane’s Wrecker to the Rescue
I used to work in the Linen Bank building when it was Fife council office-we kept the lollipop lady outfits in the old safe!!
Still probably safer than walking down the ‘pedestrian zone’ now!
A Bus!!! Dx

I remember having a tin lorry just like that one!
