This photograph was taken at the corner of the High Street and the New Row near where Costa Cafe is now situated, where a traffic policeman used to direct the traffic at this busy junction.

Maloco’s Snooker and Billiard Hall which was situated just off the High Street.

Photo taken from the new DVD is of the junction of James Street and East Port Street looking towards the bus station and Kingsgate Centre. The tenements have long since gone from the corner site.
