    Just as I remember it! I can certainly remember when there was a library upstairs. At the top of the building was a strange little tower called “Black’s Folly” sadly demolished in favour of progress. The library closed sometime in the 1950s. I remember because my Dad was a long time member and was very disappointed.

    Toilet Specialists I see, English is a strange language. I did not know they sold toilets. I presume they really meant toiletries and when I was a child they had two shops. One was the pharmacy and a couple of streets away was what my family called “Audio Boots” where you did indeed get audio things.
