Photograph of the Auld Toll Tavern (formerly known as Jennie Rennie’s Pub). Although it still stands today, the Burmah Garage and Margot’s hairdressing salon which stood opposite on the corner of Tollage and Hospital Hill in this photo from 1971 is long gone. The offer on for motorists filling up was ‘One unique egg cup with every four gallons’!
